Help us care for Inwood Hill Park
If you are interested in caring for Inwood Hill Park and the surrounding areas, we would love to see you at one of our events! We have weekly stewardship programs every weekend between March and November, with additional repeating events like our annual Earth Day Festival and City of Forest Day, on special weekends throughout the year. For our weekly events, no registration is required; simply show up at the designated meeting location, which you can find on our calendar and social media pages, and we will provide all the rest! All you need to bring is a completed waiver, comfortable clothes and shoes that you don’t mind getting dirty, and a willingness to contribute!
We are also available to organize private and corporate volunteer events. For questions about scheduling these, our availability, and fee structure, please contact chris@inwoodhillpark.org.
Organizational needs
Friends of Inwood Hill Park is an all-volunteer non-profit organization with a big park and a small group of leaders. All of our activities, from planning stewardship events to leading hikes to keeping our tools clean, are done by volunteers like you (yes, you!) who make this group amazing. We could not do it without you.
We are looking to grow and expand to make our park and our programming better than ever. At present, we are looking for volunteers with skills and experience in organizational development, grant-writing, and social media management. If that sounds like you, we want to hear from you!
